Christmas 2011
During December Curves NW5 collected coats, warm clothing and toiletries for our local Salvation Army (Chalk Farm NW3), along with Christmas food for the lunch that the Salvation army host each year for the homeless, elderly, low income families and anyone spending Christmas day alone.
We are proud to announce that we collected four bin liners of clothes, two of toiletries and 6 shopping bags full of food!
On December 18th 2011, we put on a Curves Zumbathon! For the first time ever we opened up Curves to husbands and partners of our members and together we all did a 90 minute Curves circuit with Zumba class! It was great fun and we raised £115! (we also burnt of loads of callories). I would like to thank Olga - our amazing Zumba instructor for donating her time to teach the class.
Thank you to each of you who took part in the class, donated your coats and jumpers and bought toiletries and food in.
Your contributions will help so many people this Christmas. Its amazing what we can do when we all come together.
Merry Christmas Ladies.
